Santos is preceded in death by his parents, Jose B. Bernal Jr. and San Juana (Rodriguez) Bernal; Niece, Naomi Cyprian.

Santos is survived by his wife, Julia A. Bernal of Pearsall, Texas; Stepsons, Eugenio Esteban Guzman of Minot, North Dakota, Henry L. Guerra (Rachel) of Minot, North Dakota, Reynaldo Guzman (Jackie) of Uvalde, Texas, Jesus Eugene Guzman of Cuero, Texas; Daughters, Annabelle Longoria (Joe Robert) of Pearsall, Texas, Samantha Navarro (Johnny) of Kyle, Texas; Stepdaughters, Lola Brelinda Guzman  of Pearsall, Texas, Emilia Guzman (Jose Arredondo) of Pearsall, Texas; Brothers, Francisco “Frank” R. Bernal of Oxnard, California, Jesus “Jesse” R Bernal of Austin, Texas, Catarino “Cat” R. Bernal of Pearsall, Texas; Sisters, Isabel B. Salazar of Pearsall, Texas, Juanita B. Cyprian of Pearsall, Texas, Francisca “Frances” B. Carrizales of Oxnard, California; Two Grandchildren, Fifteen Step Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 2:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Pearsall, Texas. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 1, 2020 12:00 P.M. Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Pearsall, Texas with interment to follow in Pearsall Cemetery.
