Susana L. Munoz

Susana Munoz passed away at age 91 on Friday, December 18, 2020, in Pearsall, Texas.  She was born on March 11, 1929, in Sabinal, Texas to Esiquio C. Luna and Rafaela Botello Luna.

Susana is predeceased by her parents, her husband Arturo M. Munoz and a daughter, Rosemary Munoz, brothers, and sister-in-laws Luciano B. and Ramona Luna and Rodolfo B. and Amparo Luna. She is survived by her son Herman Munoz, daughters, Rosalinda Munoz and Rosandra Munoz, and Rosanna Vasquez (Ernie).  Two grandchildren Anthony Vasquez and Kellie Vasquez and one great-grandchild Kannon Gonzalez, sisters Maria Elia Tafolla (Rolando) and Florencia Maldonado (†Eustolio), numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pall bearers are Rolando Tafolla, Rene Tafolla, Armando Trevino, Joe Anthony Ramirez, Armando Vasquez and Trey Reyes.

Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Vasquez and Kannon Gonzalez.

 Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, with Mass following at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow in the Pearsall Veterans Cemetery.

Due to the limitations imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, masks or facial coverings will be required and social distancing will be observed. Please limit your physical contact to members of your immediate family.
