Theodora Medina

Theodora Martinez Medina, known to many as "Beca" 98, peacefully passed away on May 28, 2022, in Pearsall, Texas. She was born July 19, 1923, in our small town of Pearsall. Theodora was the beloved, faithful wife, and best friend of her one and only true love of 45 years, to the late Trinidad Medina, Sr., also of Pearsall. Theodora is preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Medina, Sr., and daughters Adelina Medina and Virginia Olivarez, her parents Romaldo and Virginia Martinez, her brother Santiago Martinez, and her sisters Juanita Martinez, Josepha Valdez, and Teresa Perez. Theodora is survived by her son, Trinidad Medina, Jr., and daughters Alicia Long and Grace Medina. Throughout Theodora's lifetime, she was blessed with nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great grandchildren. Theodora will always be remembered for her special warm smiles, her caring and loving heart, her warm embraces, her beautiful words of wisdom, and her wise advice. Theodora was definitely a woman of God, always loving and serving his people in the most simplistic ways. She was faithful to him and to her rosary. She will forever live in the hearts of many.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 2:00 PM till 9:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 3, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall, with interment to follow in Catholic West cemetery.
