Tina Sue (Pepper) Finto was born October 28, 1967, in Hondo, TX, and passed away October 28th, 2024 at her home in Devine, TX on her 57th birthday.
She is preceded in death by her father, Truett Pepper; her father and mother-in-law William and Dorothy Finto, and all of her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Charles, daughter Kristy, mother Nancy Pepper, brother Tim Pepper (Danna), sister Terrie Barron (John), sister-in-law Darlene Klein (Tim), brothers-in-law David (Kim), Brian (Suzanne), Daylon (Julie) and Waylon; and uncle John Pepper as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tina loved life, especially country life. From her early days growing up on the Pepper Dairy in Yancey, to working with Charles on the Finto Farms. She enjoyed the outdoors - gardening, taking care of her animals, hunting, fishing, and traveling, especially to Colorado. She was a caregiver helping to care for her mother-in-law during her battle with cancer, and Granny Finto until her death at the age of 95. She loved making quilts for everyone's special occasion, making goodies for family and friends using her favorite family recipes, and working estate sales with Darlene where she found all kinds of treasures!
When she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 2 years ago, we knew she was in a battle, but she faced it with courage and stubborn determination as she did all the challenges in her life. She lived each day one at a time. No one but Charles and Kristy knew how she really was because her answer when asked was always "I'm fine", and she won the battle! Her faith was in her Lord Jesus Christ who carried her through each day until he carried her home to be with him forever.
