Venancio "Benny" Ferdin

Venancio "Benny" Ferdin a beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather from Devine, Texas peacefully passed away on June 7, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas to his parents Maria Elena Savala and the late Venancio Ferdin Sr.

 Benny's dedication and love were admired by all who knew him. Leaving a lasting impact on those who loved him. 
 
He is preceded in death by his father Venancio Ferdin Sr, brother Robert Ferdin, and sisters Yolanda Rodriguez, and Sylvia Ferdin.

He is survived by his loving wife of fourteen years Jessica Ferdin, parents Jimmy and Maria Savala, children Kassey Reece (Kyle), Guadalupe Torres (Anthony) Sylvia Zamora (Julio), Clarisa Santiago (Mario), Joshua, Joseph, and Maria Lyons; sisters Anna and Linda Ferdin; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Primrose Funeral Service Chapel Devine, Texas. Communion service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Devine, Texas with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
