William "Rick" Johnson

William Rex (Rick) Johnson went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 10, 2024, at the age of 74. Rick was born on October 21, 1949. Rick was preceded in death by his parents Irene Bergara Johnson and William Claude Johnson; his maternal grandparents, Jesus Bergara, Sr. and Margarita Casillas Bergara; his paternal grandparents, Ross Johnson and Susan Johnson; and his grandson Dakota Rex Johnson.

Rick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry Erma Johnson; his daughter, Nicole Michelle Johnson Hardin; his grandchildren, Seth Adam Hardin, Ty Elliott Hardin, Nanette Alyssa Hardin, Jamee Michelle Hardin; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Rick was raised in Warren, Michigan where he was employed by the Chrysler Corporation for 35 years. In 2011, after his retirement, he relocated to Texas to enjoy his "Ranchito" on Vergara Road.

Rick's hobby was to work on vehicles. He also enjoyed repairing and rebuilding different projects, as well as collecting tools and mentoring people. He was a great provider for his family by making sure they had everything they needed. He will be missed.
